Veracruz, on the other hand, offers a coastline dotted with quaint fishing villages and pristine beaches, all waiting to be explored. The region is also known for its historic architecture and lively music scene, making it a great place to experience Mexican culture. RV travelers in this region often seek out campgrounds near the beach or near historic sites such as Veracruz City or the Tajin ruins.
Both of these regions are accessible via well-maintained highways, but it's important to be aware of local driving customs and road conditions. We recommend visiting during the dry season, which typically runs from November to April, to avoid any weather-related travel delays.
